Yarrablend was our first quartet and specifically formed to perform at the 1995 AAMBS Convention in Canberra (Melbournaires first Convention). This first incarnation members were ArthurWills tenor, DavidBuck lead, SteveCarnie bass and IanLushey baritone.

Yarrablend continued with a new tenor for the 1997 Sydney AAMBS 4th National Convention. It was awarded the "Best Novice Award" as the best quartet which hadn't previously "medalled". Its members were JockGardiner tenor; DavidBuck lead; SteveCarnie bass; IanLushey baritone.

The audience at the 2007 BHA National Convention in Brisbane gave Pitchblend the "Audience Favourite Award" for this song, but the judges docked points for "poor song selection and bad taste."
